Long Time No Speak

Hello all

Not updated this for a while but as we increasingly have so much to keep you up to date with our weekly updates will become a regular occurrence this term.

Congratulations to year 10 on completing their controlled assessments - we are in the process of marking them and will give you an idea of how you have done on Parents Evening this week. Your exam is on the 28th May which counts for 25% of your GCSE - revise hard and you'll do a great job.

Year eleven have now completed the course and are working on revision and exam technique. Some brilliant presentations so far - most entertaining!

Year twelve are settling into Unit 2 in Business & Economics and preparing for their next round of exams.

Year thirteen are recovering from the Strategy and Transport papers whilst looking forward to Summer.

Results day is a week on Thursday and all staff will be available to answer any questions and offer help where needed - Good Luck!

Have a good week & remember cake is always welcome :)

Update

Hello

Y13 are now coursework free having handed in their project and done their second thematic mock paper so we are now all focussed on the strategy exam in January.

Fast Track Students can access the resources they need via the Business and Economics pages on the intranet.

Y12 students are working well towards theiur Unit 1 exam in January for both business and economics and some are already looking forward to our New York trip in February.

Y11 who are considering taking Business Studies or Economics at AS can find resources to help them with their decision via the Business pages on the Intranet - make sure to read the word file first!

Y10 are starting their GCSE coursework next week so we wish them well with that, and also wish good luck to the Y13 Economists involved in the Bank of England Target 2.0 competition as their presentation is on the horizon.

Everyone arrived back safely from India having had a fascinating and enjoyable time :)

Take care and have a good day :)
